A true UPDATE on me.

Wow! It has been a year since my last post. And I only wish I could say it was because I forgot about this blog. And even though I did forget to keep you updated, I also was purely busy and well...occupied...

Long stories short:

In the last year, I have made some bad decisions due to a major change in my life. The bad thing: It ruined my image in a lot of people's eyes, but I am working to redeem myself as quickly and as truly as possible. The good thing: I got a lot of good writing from it. So, thanks for that.

I have also taken a semester break from schooling, and had some much-needed time to myself and with family. I got distracted over the summer and found myself in WAY too deep in another relationship that was going nowhere fast. It was dangerous and I was being controlled and therefor progressively unhappy. Luckily, I managed to get out with my dignity still in tact about four months ago and am doing MUCH better now. I have since met another and we are moving slowly but surely towards what I have always wanted in a relationship, rather than what I have always feared. It's going very well and I hope to come back with more positive feedback as the weeks, months, (years?) pass by.

Other than those major things happening, I have been my normal self. Writing music and other things, performing around the area...released a cd last January and have sold over 200 copies. I also have been featured a couple different times in newspapers and articles in the area, and I have helped quite a few other young bands/artists make names for themselves. My home life and my career are going fantastically, and my Daughter Bailee is growing beautifully (I still cant believe she's three already!), just as she always has.

All in all, I am happy.

I manage to see the good in every day, and I help the effort by listing three things I am thankful for before going to bed each night. And I GREATLY suggest it to anyone. It has had a great effect in how I sleep and the mood I'm in when I wake up. And its even better when I make it public through facebook or just writing it down somehow, to share what I'm grateful for with the ones I am grateful for.

Anyway, I am doing well. Lots of new writing. I'm thinking about posting it somewhere, but a lot of it is very personal. We'll see.
